Traditional Handsewn Kilts and Accessories
Headwear
Traditional Scottish headdress began with the blue bonnet.
This was initially a fairly shapeless, homespun article dyed blue; first with woad, then later with indigo. Of the hats featured below, it most resembled the Balmoral.
All hats are made in the United Kingdom by the supplier to all Highland Regiments. These are made to the exacting standards of the Ministry of Defence (UK) and Department of National Defence (Canada) and feature 100% wool body, silk bands, and silk ribbon tails.
All prices in Canadian funds.
